Call for Co-chair applications

As part of this initiative, Research4Life is seeking highly motivated and dedicated individuals to serve as Co-Chair of the Equity Committee. The selected Co-Chairs will represent users and partner publishers/societies and play a pivotal role in guiding the committee’s endeavours.

Key deliverables and governance structure

The specific key deliverables of the committee will be determined by the Co-Chairs and members in collaboration. The committee will have a two Co-Chair governance structure, representing users and partner publishers/societies. The group will meet every six weeks and report on progress to the Executive Council meeting through the Co-Chairs and output at the General Partners Meeting (GPM). Representatives will be drawn from users and societies/publishers, ensuring a diverse representation from different regions and backgrounds. The committee will also liaise with other stakeholder groups, such as STM, OASPA, C4DISC, and Joint Commitment, to ensure collaboration and reduce duplication of efforts.

Join us in advancing equity in research

We invite passionate individuals from diverse backgrounds, with a strong commitment to promoting equity and inclusion in research, to apply for this role.

To apply, please send a brief outline (no more than one page) to Sarah Phibbs [email protected] or Kimberly Parker [email protected], by 22 September, explaining why you want to lead this committee, any relevant experience, and your ideas for key deliverables.  The Research4Life Executive Group will review the applications and may invite candidates for a brief conversation prior to appointment.
