Partnering to Provide Access to Scientific Information to the Global South to support agrifood systems transformation | Wednesday, 12 October at 11am CEST. Did you miss the event? Find the recording below.

For the past 20 years Research4Life, a UN-publisher partnership, has facilitated access to vital scientific subscription resources for institutions in lower-income countries. As many hurdles remain in place for researchers in the Global South, there is growing urgency to increase research participation from underrepresented regions in supporting the SDGs.

This panel will share experiences on providing access to scientific research and coordinating actions to improve scientific publishing, in particular engaging with an increased number of actors from the Global South. Additionally, it will present experiences from stakeholders working on science as a global public good – from challenges to good practices – with the objective of discussing initiatives currently in place to facilitate the information and knowledge exchange, their benefits, and contributions toward an inclusive, diverse and equitable scholarly environment related to agrifood systems transformation.
