Did you know that Research4Life gives you access to publications on law and social sciences? Join us for a new webinar on Thursday 25 March at 1:00 pm CET and learn how to turbo-charge your legal research.

Global Online Access to Legal Information

GOALI (Global Online Access to Legal Information) is a Research4Life program that helps researchers in lower- and middle-income countries improve the quality of legal research. GOALI is managed by the International Labour Organization in partnership with Yale and Cornell Law Libraries and Brill Nijhoff.

Incorporating disciplines such as politics, economics, philosophy, history and many more from the most prestigious academic publishers, GOALI offers access to up to 16,000 resources, including books and peer-reviewed journals from 70 publishers, and the offering keeps growing.

Nina Scholtz, Director for Research & Instruction and Adjunct Professor of Law in Cornell University Law Library will guide you through:

  • Which resources you can find in GOALI
  • How to effectively use the search functions

There will be time to ask any questions you may have. The webinar will be recorded, and the video will be published on our training portal

This webinar is targeted both at current and prospective users of Research4Life. If you are a prospective user, before registering for the webinar double check if you are in an eligible institution. Access to Research4Life is only granted at an institutional level. It is best to involve your institution’s library if you are not working there yourself. Feel free to forward these webinar details to your institution’s librarians!
